The Opportunity
Our naturally outstanding Chilterns National Landscape has a rich tapestry of active countryside, renowned locally crafted food and drink served from farm shops and pubs, independent retail, makers, heritage experiences and accommodation offering unrivalled access. Yet, without a shared platform to promote our region collectively, that story isn’t being told at scale. Visitors who’d love what you offer simply don’t know to come and spend time & money here.
The Chilterns Discovery Day is designed to change that — and the Chilterns Tourism Network would like you to be part of it.
What participation involves
Sign up to open your doors on 11–12 July 2026.
Offer a short experience, tasting, special menu, tour, or an activity.
You decide whether it’s free or ticketed.
We all promote the Discovery Day collectively using new marketing assets and send visitors your way!

We are currently confirming the first group of participating businesses. To launch the event we need a minimum of 10 venues, with capacity for many more as the event grows.
